Program Overview
The Master of Education (M. Ed.) program is a postgraduate degree program that is designed for individuals who already have a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree or relevant teaching experience. The objective of the MEd program is to deepen students' understanding of the principles and practices of education and to develop the necessary skills required for leadership roles in education.
The main objectives of the M. Com. program are as follows
- To deepen students' understanding of the principles and practices of education, including theories of learning, teaching strategies, and curriculum development.
- To develop students' critical thinking, analytical, and research skills, enabling them to conduct independent research in the field of education.
- To equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills required for leadership roles in education, including curriculum development, educational policy, and administration.
- To prepare students for careers in teaching at the primary, secondary, and higher secondary levels, as well as in other educational settings.
- To foster an appreciation for diversity and inclusivity in education and to develop students' skills in creating a safe and supportive learning environment.

Eligibility Criteria
There are 25 seats in the programme.Those who have secured minimum 50% marks in B.Ed./B.A.B.Ed./ B.Sc. B.Ed./ B.El.Ed (relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates) or D.El.Ed. with undergraduate degree(with 50% marks in each) are eligible for admission in the programme. Every candidate interested in admission to M.Ed. Programme has to appear and qualify the Entrance test of the University to be held every year.
Fee Structure
The fee structure shall be applicable as per the norms of Government of Uttar Pradesh (U.P.) / Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCS) Meerut.
